Pasta Stroganoff

INGREDIENTS
• 2 tbsp. margarine
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
• 227 g sliced mushrooms
• 2 x 113 g VEGEAT burgers cut into bite-sized pieces
• 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 cup beef broth
• 1/2 cup Belsoy (soy cream)
• 1 tsp tomato paste
• 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 tsp dried thyme
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• a pinch of salt and pepper to taste
STEPS
Start by finely chopping your onion, garlic then chopping your mushrooms. Cut the VEGEAT burgers into bite size pieces. Heat a large deep skillet over medium heat with 2 tbsp. margarine. Put your vegetables and burgers in the pan and cook for about ten minutes. When they are cooked, sprinkle with flour and coat well. There must be no more flour in the pan. Now add the rest of the veggie beef broth ingredients, salt and pepper and allow to thicken for about 2 minutes. Serve immediately on pasta. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
